How Does Oakford Protect Us?
We provide all of our web based services via a secure, Education only, Private Network (PEN). This was specifically designed using best of breed IT security equipment installed across a fail-safe network of UK only data centres.
In addition to the PEN each School Broadband order comes with BECTA approved web filtering to ensure inappropriate material can be blocked.
How Much Extra Does This Cost?
The short answer….nothing. Unlike some other providers we strongly believe that a School Broadband connection should never be supplied without the above protection.
