What is Office 365?

Microsoft Office 365 can provide your school with cloud hosted email based on Microsoft Exchange, up to 1TB of personal file storage using OneDrive, shared file space using SharePoint Team Sites, further communication and collaboration via Lync and Yammer, the latest version of Microsoft Office software, all accessible via a web browser or locally installed applications.

If you have an existing Microsoft Exchange environment Oakford can even configure a hybrid environment to take advantage of both facilities.

How Much Does It Cost?

Microsoft have split the solution into different packages to suit schools of all shapes and sizes.

The entry level A2 package is completely free for UK schools and will provide enterprise class email and cloud storage for as many users as you like!

Further solutions can add real value to your school’s IT presence, such as SharePoint online, which could be used as a fully functional VLE. Paid for solutions can be billed annually or monthly per user, providing the maximum flexibility.
